GIANT CHARMING BOARD GAME
Age group: 7-10 years
Duration: 60 - 90 minutes
Once upon a time, there were three teams, who got on to try their luck… Their journey is guided by a giant dice, while they have to take on duels and several trials to succeed. The most important elements of tales become known to the group during this joint play, not to mention that a real bond in the group is forged too.
Please keep in mind that this activity can be held with a maximum of 30 people, between 30-50 people we divide the group. In this case, one half of the group is actively taking part in the session, while the other half is visiting the museum, after which they switch places.
ONCE UPON A CROWN
Age group: 5-10 years
Duration: 60-90 minutes
What are heroes like? What attributes do they have? Are they clever? Are they brave? Are they kind hearted? What values do I have? How can I treasure and develop them?
At the Story Museum you are in the best place to summon a little magic and fulfil the seven challenges. Whoever succeeds, gets a (fairy-tale) hero pass! (card/ID)
With this activity, our goal is to strengthen the inner values, self-knowledge and perseverance of the children.
Please keep in mind that this activity can be held with a maximum of 30 people, between 30-58 people we divide the group in two and charge double the activity fee( 2x 6000Ft).
In this case, the two groups can start the activity with a 45 minutes time difference. During the waiting time,if there’s bad weather, we can offer you a room, where you can read for the group.
Who has been eating off my plate?
Snow White
Age group: pre-school
Duration: 60 minutes
While wandering through the room of the Story Museum, we recall the tale collected by the Grimm brothers, we retell it and with the help of the means of drama pedagogy - we replay it.
Our goal is to bring to the surface the eternal dilemmas in the tale, which usually are accompanied by strong emotional reactions (being an outcast, inclusion, obedience, etc.) and to process them in a safe space adequate for the age group .
SECRETS OF THE HOUSE
Age group: 8-12 years
Duration: 60-90 minutes
The Story Museum hides treasures and stories in every nook and cranny of the old-old house, if we can find them, they tell us about the Turkish Pasha, about the temple builders, about the slippers, about the book collector, about the ship captain, about the water gnomes or about the miller’s family.
During this activity we playfully evoke the things and professions of the past, we get to know the story of the families who lived in the building.
In this drama educational session only one group can take part, with maximum of 30 children. There’s no possibility of dividing into smaller groups.
REGAL DECISIONS
Age group: 9-12 years
Duration: 90 minutes
The fabulous tales about King Matthias Corvin are all about quick-wittedness, disguise and travelling. We have a saying: “King Matthias is dead, justice is lost.”- but what other attributes did Matthias have, other than being truthful?
By learning about the Matthias-tales, the children can get in touch not only with themselves and their fellows, but also with their community, while getting a closer glimpse at the importance of decision-making and its consequences.

WISH SOMETHING!
Age: 9-12 years
Duration: 90 minutes
Our story is about a boy, who packed his bag, and started on a journey to find out if his dreams can be fulfilled. But does he manage to get on with it, if along his road he is tempted by interesting adventures? You also have desires, don’t you? Can they be fulfilled? If yes, how so? What would you wish for, if you could have only one wish fulfilled?
Our aim is for children to get closer with each other, to open up before one another and for them to be able to judge the possibility if a desire or a dream can be fulfilled.
